RICHARD HOWE
Artist and photographer Richard Howe's work is in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the Columbus Museum (GA), Cantor Fitzgerald, Inc., and the Kentler Flatfiles, as well as in numerous private collections. His work on paper has frequently been exhibited at the Kentler International Drawing Space in Red Hook (Brooklyn) and other New York metropolitan area venues, and has travelled with Kentler shows to Detroit's Museum of New Art, Little Rock's Arkansas Arts Center, and the Columbus (GA) State University Art Gallery. Selections from his New York in Plain Sight have been featured in the Library of Congress’ Madison Council Bulletin and The Sunday New York Times. Recently, New York in Plain Sight was added to the Columbia University Avery Arts and Architecture Library's Web Resources Collection, sponsored by a 2009 grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
